The Jordan brand began as a basketball shoe brand under the Nike banner in 1984. It was later given to the young athlete Michael Jordan, who had no experience in sales or competition. The first pair of Air Jordans was released on July 1, 1985, for $64.95. The Jordan brand has a central cultural significance in streetwear culture, evident through its annual releases of high-end shoes, where each annual event is well-received by the public. Michael Jordan was considered the best basketball player of all time, wearing his sneakers throughout his career.
