The company initially focused on manufacturing basketball shoes, expanding its production services to clothing, shoes and accessories not only for basketball, but also for lifestyle. Michael Jordan was considered the best basketball player of all time, wearing his sneakers throughout his career. Michael Jordan retired in 2003, but he continues to be a pillar of top-selling athletic shoes for many retailers. Michael Jordan continues to play a significant role in the design and production of Jordan shoes to this day.
