  Clean your Nike sneakers in 4 simple steps!

Step 1

Carefully wipe away dust and dirt with a dry brush.

Step 2

Clean your shoes with water and a little dishwashing liquid or laundry detergent, and using a soft brush or old toothbrush, gently wash the upper and outsole of your sneakers. If your Nike shoes are white, add a small amount of baking soda to make them extra clean!

Step 3

Remove the laces from your shoes and wash them with the same solution.

Step 4

Allow your sneakers to dry naturally, under shade, so they retain their colour and shape. Remember that your sneakers need to dry very well before you wear them, which can take around 8 hours.

Special care for different shoes

• Leather: Lightly scrub using an eraser or conditioner and avoid excessive pressure.

• Suede: Dusting with a suede brush, use rubber or pencil eraser, for localized marks wipe with a cloth dipped in white vinegar.

• Textile/mesh (e.g. Flyknit): scrub with a soft brush in the direction of the fabric, no bleach or harsh substances, air dry and away from dryers.

Extra notes for extra freshness 

• Never use the washing machine and dryer to clean your sneakers, to avoid wear and tear.

• If you want your shoes to smell great, you can add some special perfume.

• For stubborn stains, you can also use a small amount of vinegar.
